Active Shooter Training: Open Communication in the Workplace

These days, it is not uncommon to watch the news or browse the internet and immediately see a mass shooting has taken place in the U.S. These tragic events can occur anywhere – schools, public events and even the workplace, making active shooter training essential in any situation. On Sept. 17, IABC Lynchburg is offering a session that is different from its normal professional development programming. We will be joined by Marko Galbreath of T4Tactics, LLC, who will address the importance of open communication and threat assessment in regards to preventing and responding to an active shooter situation.

Meet Our Speaker

Marko Galbreath is a retired police sergeant of 22 years, and also served as a swat team member and hostage negotiation team commander. Marko is now a certified active shooter training instructor and has spent the last 17 years teaching advanced and specialized police courses. A resident of Lynchburg, Marko travels the country, delivering active shooter presentations at various events. In 2019 alone, he has traveled to 12 different states.
